Good day.
Nothing stellar to report today.
The SRFFA (Strathmore Rural FireFighters Association) held their 4th annual ladies night out event on Saturday night. A highly successful event. Total revenues aroung $23,000. Total profit around $13,000. Not too shabby.
Last year we used $10,000 to help our fire protection board purchase a new set of Amkus powered hydraulic rescue tools. To be honest, we have yet to use them other than for training purposes which is fine by me. We've done our share of cutting people out this year.
We are wrapping up our VFIS driver training certifications in the next 3 weeks.
For those of you following along to see how many millions I'm making with my banner ads and ad words.... Grand total of about $6 this month. Go ahead click on the banner ads. Please. The good people who put them there want you to see their sites... I'll be sure to send you your cut.
I'll be watching Hurricane Wilma over the next couple of days. We've got a beach house booked on the southern Mayan Riviera (near Tulum) for the end of January. I hope there will be something left to go to. We are going to stay at Casa Jihae. Good thing I bought that cancelation insurance.
More later if I'm feeling like it.
