Today was ok.
I started out by getting lost. an hour later I found myself. Damn that Neverlost GPS system!!!
At any rate. I spent my day in a van underneath a Medium Voltage power pole doing performance benchmarking. Lets say that I didn't really enjoy the experience. It was about 102 degrees and about 90% humidity.... I"m not used to that kind of environment, and obviously didn't drink enough water. I felt aweful by the end of the day.
I had lunch at a the Cajun Crab Shack. I had a Roast Beef Po-boy, and red beans and rice with sausage. yummy.
A nap, some asprin, and about a gallon of water and I feel like a new man!
I went for a drive, saw some of sugarland, and a couple of other cities too. I found a Walmart, and dropped a hunderd bucks on jeans, shoes, some kids videos, and some momento toys for my boy.
Tommorow I'll check out before breakfast, and gear up for another day in the van.
When I'm done, I head for Dallas..... a lovely 4 hour drive.... More about THAT tommorow after I get settled.
